The Kolob Canyons visitor center will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for the 1995 season beginning today according to Zion National Park Superintendent Donald A Falvey.

The visitor center is located approximately 17 miles south of Cedar City at exit 40 on Interstate 15. The five-mile scenic drive in to the park allows for viewing the 1,500-foot-high majestic towers of Navajo sandstone and easy access to wilderness hiking.For more information contact the Kolob Canyons Visitor Center at (801) 586-9548.
