Lilly S. Wahlberg, age 90, died March 4, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
Born December 29, 1904, in Mammoth, Utah to O. Fred and Anna Christina Bergquist Wahlberg. Lilly retired from Growers Market after 50 years of service. She was a life long member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years.Survived by brother, Carl G. Wahlberg, Salt Lake City; and sister, Margaret Elaine Olson, Mission Viejo, Calif. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1070 Foothill Drive. Friends may call at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, Monday 7-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Zions Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral directors, Evans & Early.
