Clive Barker, author of such horror novels as "Candyman" and "Hellraisers," said he was sickened by the violence in the "Pulp Fiction" and "Interview With the Vampire" movies.
One scene that really got him in "Vampire" had Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt cracking jokes while a prostitute bleeds to death."It revolted the hell out of me," Barker said during a panel discussion at the annual World Horror Convention in Atlanta.
Barker, 42, called on fellow horror writers to abandon vampires and werewolves and write stories in which good guys outshine the monsters.
