Sorina Jane Busch, 62, died March 4, 1995, of a heart attack at Holy Cross Hospital in Wheaton, Maryland. She had been a resident of Wheaton for many years.

She was born in Fairfield and reared in Benecia, California. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). She served in a wide variety of callings for her church, most involving teaching of both children and adults.She was the wife of Morgan M. Busch, who was born in Clawson and reared in Sunnyside and Dragerton, Utah. Mrs. Busch visited in Carbon and Emery Counties frequently with the many members of her husband's extended family. Her husband's father, two brothers and one son continue to reside in Utah.

Since 1986 Mrs. Busch has worked at the Washington, D.C. LDS Temple Family History Center as a research specialist in Eastern United States and Scandinavian genealogy. She also served as director and deputy director of the Family History Center. In this capacity she helped innumerable people perform research to locate their ancestors.

Mrs. Busch's son, Darrell Alan Busch, died in 1989. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Morgan Maxfield Busch; her sons, Morgan David Busche and Arlen Lyle Busch; her daugthers, Laura Jane Orr and Helen Kathleen Busch; her sister, Bonnie Gale Houvinen; and her 12 grandchildren, Angelina, Diane, Morgan J, Charles, Sorina, Karl, Darrell, Bonny, John, Genevieve, Sasha and Megan.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be sorely missed.

Funeral services will be held in Wheaton, Maryland. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 9, 1995, in the Ferron City Cemetery at 11 a.m. Viewing will be held at Fausett Mortuary in Price, Utah on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m.
