An educational series on personal money management will run seven Thursdays starting March 9.
Daytime classes will be 1 to 3 p.m. in the Historical County Courthouse, 51 S. University Ave.Evening classes will be from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Lindon City Hall, 383 Lakeview Road. The classes are sponsored by the Utah State University Extension Service, Mountainland Department of Aging, and AARP.
Topics include plugging spending leaks, knowing where the money goes, controlling credit, insurance, investments, legal matters and planning for change.
Cost of the entire course is $20, which includes an extensive workbook plus handouts. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
