Mandell D. Simpson passed away March 3, 1995, following a short illness at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born October 20, 1918, in Kamas, Utah to George Delmar and Veryl McCormick Simpson. Member of the LDS Church. Married LaVee Hunter November 30, 1938, in American Fork, Utah. LaVee preceded him in death June 28, 1966.Married Marcelle Olson Hitchcock September 9, 1967. Marcell preceded him in death April 23, 1991.
Mandell was employed by Continental Baking Co. for 26 years and was a veteran of World War II. Member of the Disabled American Veterans. Mandell enjoyed fishing, traveling his little jaunts to Wendover and the Utah Jazz.
Mandell is survived by two daughters, Kaye (Derrell) Burton, Casper, Wyo.; Terri (Michael) Burdette, Sandy, Utah; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, brother, Boyd Simpson, and sister, Roma Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 1995, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services.
