The Utah Valley Symphony Guild's Spring Symposium will be held on Monday, March 13, at 1 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Kathryn Bankhead, 452 E. 3950 North, Provo.
Jeffrey Shumway, associate professor of piano and head of keyboard studies at Brigham Young University, will preview the upcoming performance of Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra.Shumway will perform with the Utah Valley Symphony as part of the Spring Concert Series on Wednesday, March 15, and Thursday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Provo Tabernacle.
Utah Valley Symphony Guild members are invited to attend to attend Monday's symposium. The guild serves as a fund-raising organization for the Utah Valley Symphony.
