Ella Francis Dick Winter Hansen, age 89, passed away March 5, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah of complications following surgery.

She was born September 3, 1905 in Springfield, Missouri, to Valentine Newton Dick and Julia Ann Teague, and grew to maturity in that area. She was married to Charles Alvin Winter, December 14, 1929. He passed away December 14, 1967.After moving to Salt Lake City in 1968, she met and was married to Hans Sigurd Hansen in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away November 1, 1971.

She was a devoted mother, and LDS Church worker, a former Relief Society president, Stake and full-time missionary, Temple worker, Spiritual Living instructor, and a noted and beloved Gospel Doctrine scholar and teacher.

In addition to her two husbands, she is preceded in death by her son, David Alvin Winter. Her surviving relatives include her children and their spouses: Donald and Carolyn Winter, Julia and Neil Larson, Gerald and Dora Winter, Millie and Elwin Leavitt, Richard and Edie Hansen; daughter-in-law, Valene K. McDaniel; 31 grandchildren, 45-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 1995 at 12 noon, at the Mueller Park 3rd Ward Chapel, 1825 South 800 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Relief Society room, Thursday, 11- 11:45 a.m. Burial, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
