William Daniel (Dan) Turnbow departed from this earth on March 3, 1995 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born July 19, 1950 to Howard A. Turnbow and Georgia L. Willis Turnbow. He married Carolyn Wilson on August 14, 1970. They were later divorced. He married Marsha Johnson on September 23, 1990. He was employed by U.S. West Communications for 20 years.He is survived by his wife, Marsha of Vernal; one son and six daughters, Mrs. Johnnie (Alisha) Bartlett, and Brandon Turnbow, of Idaho; Megan Turnbow of New London, Conn.; Ginger Turnbow, Kelsey Turnbow, Nicole Dennett, Rachel Dennett, all of Vernal; and one grandson, Gabriel Bartlett of Idaho; his parents, Howard and Georgia Turnbow of West Jordan; three brothers and four sisters, Ray and Colleen Peterson, Howie and Lynn Turnbow, Burdett Turnbow, Tom and Syndee Medlin, all Salt Lake; Doug and Barta Heath of Salina; Mike and Delina Holweg, and Annie Turnbow, Arizona, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Daniel loved the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, river rafting, hunting and camping. He was a member of the LDS Church and a Vietnam veteran. Mostly, Daniel loved spending time with his family. His special spirit touched everyone who loved him. He will be missed.
Services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., in the Vernal 3rd Ward Chapel, 500 West 100 South, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial at a later date. Directed by Thomson's Vernal Mortuary
