Fifteen Utahns will be honored Tuesday night at the Fort Douglas Country Club when the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau honors them for helping bring future conventions to the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Richard C. Davis, bureau president, said the 15 helped book conventions that will bring 158,000 delegates to Salt Lake City, along with an estimated $145 million boost to the local economy. Honors will go to those who booked the following conventions, with estimates on how many will attend:- Peggy Sewell, United Methodist Church, August 1995, 3,000.

- Peter Metcalf, Outdoor Retailer, seven expos through 1999, 119,000.

- Nancy Kail, American Express, September 1995, 300.

- Lant B. Olsen, Nature's Sunshine Products, June 1996, 800.

- Dr. Graham Lister, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, October 2002, 4,000.

- Alex Morris, Audrey Chase, Cassie Olson and Caryn Morris, Partners for the Planet Youth Summit, July 1995, 1,500.

- Grant Vest, American Society for Horticultural Science, July 1997, 1,500.
