A 4-year-old Woods Cross boy is listed in serious condition in the Primary Children's Medical Center intensive care unit after being struck by a car when he chased a ball into the street Tuesday afternoon.

Nathan Kagie, 4, was airlifted to PCMC after the 5:45 p.m. accident, Woods Cross Police Chief Paul Howard said. The accident occurred when the boy chased a soccer ball into the street in front of his home at 1155 S. 800 West, Howard said.No citatation was issued, and Howard said the accident is still under investigation.
