Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father March 6, 1995.

Rella Sproul, 90, was born April 27, 1904 to William Elison and Margaret Callister Elison, in Blackfoot, Idaho. She was the eighth of 13 children. She married Angus Randolph Sproul Feb. 4, 1925 in the Logan LDS Temple.She was active in the LDS Church. She served with her husband on a mission to Springfield, Missouri, and in the Provo LDS Temple for 10 years. She was an excellent seamstress and cook. She loved music. She worked very hard all of her life.

Survived by four children, LaDean Snow (Craig), of Layton; Kay Sproul (Lois),of Salt Lake City; Barbara Garrick (Eldred), of Salt Lake City; Vernon Sproul (Leonora), of Anaheim, Calif.; 23 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Golden Elison and Bernell Elison of Idaho. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Rella Rooney.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 11, 1995 at 12 noon in the Provo LDS Slate Canyon 1st Ward, 715 South Utah Ave., Provo. Friends may call at the ward chapel on Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery under the direction of the Walker Mortuary in Provo.
