James Carlisle Grace, 74, passed away at home March 6, 1995 in Salt Lake City.

Born June 8, 1920 in Oakland, California, son of Carlisle and Augusta Sorenson Grace. Married Maida Giles November 3, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Veteran of World War II, and Korea conflict, serving as Captain in U.S. Army Air Corps. Member of Los Angeles lathing industry. Moved from Santa Monica, California to Salt Lake in 1978. Avid sportsman, loved golfing, hunting, trap shooting, and dearly loved his family and the title of Grandpa.Who do we look to now for his great sage advice?

Survived by his wife, Maida; sons, Timothy L., Henry (Hank), Nolan; daughters, Margia, Sharon; Rayola; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Richard Grace, Long Beach, Calif.; Vona Preston, Lakewood, Calif.

The family would like to express appreciation for the special care given by nurses, staff and doctors at the Veterans Hospital. Dad was greatly comforted by their attendance. Special appreciation is extended to "Ol Fetch."

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 1995 at 2 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment, Redwood Memorial Park.
