A Brigham Young University nursing student was one of 52 students from around the nation selected to receive a Helene Fuld Health Trust Fellowship.

Diana L. Halverson, a senior from Lafayette, Colo., was among those chosen from more than 400 applicants to receive the honor. Recipients were judged on their interest in holistic nursing as well as their academic and extracurricular achievements.Halverson will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to a nursing conference in London and Edinburgh July 13-16, as well as paid registration to the 1995 national conference of the National Student Nurses Association.

The Helene Fuld Health Trust is the largest charitable trust in the United States devoted exclusively to nursing education.
