Two Brigham Young University undergraduate students have been named to USA Today's All USA College Academic Team.
David Barlow, a senior majoring in political science from Boise, was named to the third team, while Steven Castle, a senior majoring in organic chemistry from Sierra Vista, Ariz., was given an honorable mention.A total of 1,398 students from across the nation were nominated for the honor. Those selected all showed "academic brilliance with energetic leadership and a desire to use their talents to help others."
Each student honored was nominated by his or her college, then selected in a three-step process. The final judging was carried out by representatives from national higher education organizations.
