SATURDAY, March 11, the Leprechaun Lope, a Utah Grand Prix event, will be held. Covers 4 miles for runners, walkers and wheelchairs and 11/2 miles for healthwalk. Skiing

Tennis

Baseball

PLAY. Registration are being taken for Spring Youth T-Ball and Machine Pitch Baseball. T-Ball is a non-competitive program where players learn rules and basic skills. Tames played Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Cost is $25 and includes shirt, cap, trophy and team photo. Machine pitch is divided into two leagues - Minors (grades 2-4) and Majors (grades 4-6). WALLYBALL. Alta Canyon Sports Center is starting a drop-in league for all levels of play. This is on-going event. Informal leagues on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. and Friday at 9 p.m. Free for members, $4 for non-members. REI CLINICS. On March 14, Scott Hoffman will report on his three-month bike trip through Kenya. He'll show slides of wildlife, African culture and national parks . . . On March 21, Lincoln Clark will present an introductory clinic on the basics of reading topographical maps and using a compass. . . on March 28, Scott Hoffman will present slides on the Tibetan Plateau and other regions in the northern India and Nepal area. CUTTER RACES. The Wasatch Slopes Chariot Association and Weber County will hold the World Champion Cutter and Chariot Races March 18-19, 24-26 at the Ogden Spike Arena Fair Grounds at 12:30 p.m.
