DEATH: INA BETH WOFFINDEN

Ina Beth Western Woffinden passed away peacefully on March 29, 1995 after a long struggle with diabetes in a local hospital.

She was born May 23, 1922 in Hinckley, Utah to Alma and Nancy Stanworth Western. She married Lloyd Whittacre, divorced, and then later married Vernon H. Woffinden in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death.She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Lloyd Gary Whittacre, Spotslyania, Virg.; James Jarrard Whittacre, Las Vegas, Nev.; Samuel Thomas Woffinden, Sacramento, Calif.; and Nancy Ann Epperson, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Rulon Western, Provo.

She worked for J.C. Penney's and before that, she managed the downtown Fashion Fabrics store. She loved flowers and spent many hours nursing her beautiful yard. She was a member of the Liberty Park Ward. She served in the Relief Society presidency and Primary organization.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 1995 at 11 a.m. at the Liberty Park Ward, 445 East Harvard Ave. Family and friends are welcome to a viewing one hour prior to the services. Funeral arragnements by Deseret Mortuary. Burial in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
