Effie "Bonnie" LaVon Kropf Gallagher, 78, a devoted wife, our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a kind and giving friend to all, passed away April 9, 1995 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born May 10, 1916 in Cleveland, Idaho to Albert and Cordelia McCain Kropf. Married Farley Oswald "Oz" Gallagher on June 26, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member LDS Church and served a mission with her husband in the London England Temple.Survived by husband; sons, Larry (Mary) Gallagher; Garry (Marsha) Gallagher; daughters, Bonnie (Craig) Winn; Connie (Lyle) Larsen; Mary Jane (John) Montgomery; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard M. Kropf; Leroy M. Kropf; Deward Kropf; sisters, Blanche Dennis; Eva Smith; and Rosy Lenfestey. Preceded in death by brothers, William, Joseph and Charles and sister, Flossie.

Funeral services Wednesday, April 12, 1995, 12 noon, Riverside 7th Ward, 467 W. Germania Ave. (5090 So.). Friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State and Wednesday from 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, South Jordan Cemetery, 10650 So. 1055 West.
