Thanks to a deep snow pack of 116 inches, excellent skiing conditions, and high skier demand, Park City Ski Area will extend its scheduled closing date by two weeks to April 30, if snow conditions permit.
According to Phil Jones, president and general manager, more than 410 inches of snow have been recorded at the Jupiter Bowl weather station at the top of Park City Ski Area.Park City will also be offering special spring pricing on lift tickets that can save skiers up to 42 percent on multi-day tickets. Until the ski area closes, single day ticket prices will be $32 for adults and $15 for children.
Multi-day prices for adults and children respectively will be: two-out-of-three-day $64/$30, three-out-of-four-day $76/$36, four-out-of-five-day $99/$46, five-out-of-six-day $120/$55, six-out-of-seven-day $138/$63.
In addition, value-added programs for Park City Ski Area season pass and coupon book holders will be in place until closing. To encourage 1994-95 Park City season pass holders to bring a friend skiing, pass holders may purchase one adult all-day lift pass for $25 or one child (1 2 years old or younger) pass for $11 by presenting their 1994-95 season pass at a ticket window.
