Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, Lulu Harriet Heath VanOostendorp, passed away April 10, 1995 in Sandy, Utah at the age of 91.

Born July 26, 1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank and Lulu Gertrude Wilson Heath. Married Peter H. VanOostendorp Sr. January 19, 1924 in East Orange, New Jersey. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1947. He preceded her in death in August 1984.She enjoyed crocheting, which allowed her to take 1st place in the State Fair for the 16-17 year olds, she also crocheted a piece of work for an altar in the Salt Lake Temple. She lived in New Jersey for 21 years, later moving back to Salt Lake in 1945. She lived in the original Salt Palace up to the time that it burned.

She is survived by her children: Lu (Mike) Erkelens, Marie (Max) Fielding, Victor (Fay) VanOostendorp, Harry VanOostendorp, Adrieanna (Bob) Vriens; daughter-in-law, Marilyn S. VanOostendorp; 23 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Jennie, Melba; sisters-in-law: Lucille, Margaret, Irva; preceded in death by a son, Peter H. VanOostendorp, Jr. and a grandson; also three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 1995 at 12 noon at the Edgehill Ward, 1750 South 1500 East, Salt Lake City. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East and one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment: Mtn. View.
