DEATH: KATHLEEN WEISER

Kathleen Reiser Toone Weiser passed way quietly at her home on Wednesday, April 12, 1995, after a short battle against leukemia.

Kathie was born at home on September 19, 1928, to F. Millard and Evelyn Reiser Toone. She grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from South High School in 1945. Served in the Mexico-Guatemala Mission of the LDS Church from 1951-1953. Married Paul R. Weiser and was later divorced.Kathie attended the U of U and BYU, and received a Master's Degree from Utah State University in Family and Human Development. She was employed by the Division of Family Services working with Project Hope at the time she became ill.

Kathie was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and had a special love for all children. She is a wonderful person, and will be missed by many people whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Miriam Toone.

Survivors include two sons: Rolland Weiser, Logan; Bruce Weiser, West Valley City; four daughters, Elizabeth (Greg) Jenkins, Logan; Rebecca Weiser, Orem; Michol Goodrich, Orem; Kathleen (Kevin) Cram, Kapaa, Hawaii; and 18 grandchildren. Survivors also include one brother, Millard Toone, Sandy; and five sisters, Marjorie (Dick) Landeen, Draper; Wilma (Bill) Walton, serving a mission in London, England; Eileen Toone, Salt Lake City; Winona Woods, Rock Springs, Wyoming and Marilyn (Don) Gee, Salt Lake City; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2 p.m., at the Jordan Meadows Ward, 3935 So. 1500 West. Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church 1-1:45 p.m. Interment will be at the Elysian Burial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, Kathie requested that contributions be made to Primary Children's Medical Center.
