DEATH: MONO J. PETERSON

Mono J. Peterson, 84, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend died April 13, 1995 of complications of a stroke suffered January 13, 1995.

Born December 29, 1910 in Pleasant Green (Magna) to Peter Marion and Millie Sorensen Peterson. Married Margaret Monsen June 12, 1933.He lived in Magna all his life. Worked at Utah Copper, Tooele Ordinance during World War II, and retired from KCC Smelter in 1974. He played golf, bowled, and enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survived by wife of 62 years; four children: Marian (Jerry) Bolton, Michael (Charlotte), Jerry (Virginia), and Robert (Judy); 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; stepbrother, Jackson Christofferson and stepsister, Saxon Bracken. Preceded in death by brothers, Feno and Elmer, granddaughter, Teresa, and stepfather, Oliver Christofferson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 1995, 12 noon, in the Lake Ridge 11th Ward, 7825 West 3325 So. Friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Monday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
