Ernest Phillips Urry, 75 , died April 13, 1995 at the American Fork Hospital of heart failure.

Born February 18, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur Phillips and Myrtle Larsen Urry. Married Eleen Devey, May 8, 1940 in Farmington.Auto mechanic for Given Ford, Provo. He served in the Army Field Artillery during World War II in Europe. Member of the LDS Church, served in Scouting.

Well known in the community for his mechanical skills and unique sense of humor.

Survivors, wife, Lehi; son, Calvin Ernest (Eileen) Urry, Lehi; daughters, Catherine (Glade) Jeppson, Lehi; Jeanette Higginson, Orem; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vera Maecher, Salt Lake City; Carole Motarjemi, San Francisco, Calif. Preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Arthur Urry.

Funeral, Tuesday, April 18, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi 2-5-9th Ward Chapel, 465 E. 300 No. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, Monday, 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. Military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars.
