NEW STAKE PRESIDENCIES

Four new stakes have been created in Latin America and Spain.

The Cadiz Spain Stake was created by Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Seventy. The stake includes the Cadiz 1st and 2nd, Jerez, and San Fernando wards, and the Algeciras, Ceuta, Chiclana de la Frontera, Chipiona, Gibraltar, La Linea, Puerto de Santamaria, Rota Spain Servicemen, and Sanlucar de Barrameda branches.In Latin America, Elder Joseph C. Muren of the Seventy has created the Danli Honduras Stake; Elder Harold G. Hillam of the Seventy has created the Uberlandia Brazil Stake; and Elder John B. Dickson of the Seventy has formed the San Rafael Argentina Stake.

The Danli Honduras Stake includes the Barrio Danli, Bella Vista, Buena Esperanza, Concepcion, El Paraiso, Los Arcos, and Reforma wards.

The Uberlandia Brazil Stake includes the Copacabana, Parque Do Sabia, Planalto, Uberaba, and Uberlandia wards, and the Abadia and Itumbiara branches.

The San Rafael Argentina Stake includes the Ballofet, Pueblo Diamante, San Rafael 1st, 2nd, and 3rd wards, and the Malargue branch.

Elsewhere, stakes were reorganized in Brazil, Mexico, and Spain, and in Arkansas and Utah.

CADIZ SPAIN STAKE: (Feb. 19, 1995) Created from the Seville Spain Stake. President - Cristobal Rodriguez Vazquez, 37, director of sales, former stake president's counselor, bishop, and elders quorum president, married Josefa Fuentes Dela Cruz. Counselors - Jose Luis de Pando Munoz, 37, librarian for Hospital Center, former district president's counselor, stake executive secretary, bishop, and branch president, married Luisa Hidalgo Pecino; Juan Luis Hidalgo Pecino, 42, retailer, former district president, high councilor, bishop, and branch president, married Julia Guerrero Bravo.

DANLI HONDURAS STAKE: (Feb. 26, 1995) Created from the Danli Honduras district. President - Rodolfo Diaz Ortiz, 42, technician, former district president and counselor, and branch president and counselor, married Rosario del Carmen Tilguant; Hector Elias Rivera Pineda, 31, music teacher, former district president and counselor, elders quorum president, and branch president and counselor, married Lilian Carolina Arias Rivera; David Joel Pineda, 37, English teacher, former district president's counselor, bishop's counselor, elders quorum president, Sunday School president, and branch president, married Maria Sofia Caceres.

UBERLANDIA BRAZIL STAKE: (Jan. 29, 1995) Created from the Uberlandia Brazil district. President - Raimundo Walter Tavares Ampuero, 55, military officer, former Sao Paulo Temple president's counselor, temple sealer, mission president's counselor, district president, and bishop, married Rocicle Freire de Andrade.
