DEATH: ALMA JEAN (WHITE) WALTERS

Alma Jean (White) Walters, 64, passed away at her home in Tooele, Utah on Friday, April 14, 1995 after a short illness.

She was born in Lincoln, Utah on September 17, 1930, to Alma (Bish) White and Ida Adamson White. She married Rex T. Walters on March 16, 1947; their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple. She worked at the Tooele County Courthouse in the Motor Vehicle Office. Many people knew her as the "license plate expert" of Tooele County for 25 years. She was a member of the Tooele Volunteer Firemen Ladies Auxiliary.Her family was her love. She was the very proud mother of four daughters, Bobbie Lou Anderson, Sharon Kay Burdine (Steve Ulin), Laurie Walters Fait, and Terri Lyn Fuell (Sandy), and grandmother of nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She is survived by brothers, Bud White (Mary Jo) and Floyd White (Beverly) of Tooele, and Sterling White (Diane) of Casper, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother, Bill, and her sister, Delvona.

A viewing will be held Monday night from 6-8 p.m. at the Tate Mortuary, Tooele, and at the church one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, at the Tooele Fourth Ward Church, 192 West 2nd South. Burial will be at the Tooele City Cemetery.
