Now that the dust has settled, it's time to announce some additions to Crossroads, the Deseret News' online service.

For those of you who have had to wait to get through to technical support, help is on the way. Crossroads has hired Kim Kang to handle technical support calls in the evenings. You can reach Kim at 237-2140 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.Kim comes to Crossroads from California, where she was a student at Sacramento City College. She is now attending the University of Utah, where she is continuing her studies in accounting. While a member of the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force base in California, Kim gained extensive experience in computers while manning the communications center there.

The Sports Network, the nation's leading provider of real-time sports information, is now available on the Crossroads Information Network.

With The Sports Network, subscribers will be able to get up to 40 updates per game for all American professional teams as well as NCAA Division I and II colleges. Users will also be able to get European soccer scores; complete pre- and post-game summaries and match-ups; standings and schedules; and injury reports, among many other features and statistics.

Like all Crossroads services, users can search for and download documents available from The Sports Network. An additional feature allows users to monitor the status of up to six games in any sport.
