- THE CITY ART READING SERIES continues this week at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, 175 S. 700 East. Sandy Anderson, local poet, and Alma McKertrich, who has translated the works of T.S. Eliot and others into her native Armenian, will read from their works. - KATHRYN CLEMENT, formerly of the Utah State Poetry Society, has won the National Federation of State Poetry Societies manuscript competition with her collection, "A Common Language." Her first book, "Riddlestones," was published by the Utah State Poetry Society in 1987.
