Mary Frieda Samuelson Hiatt Frandsen, 88, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, April 15, 1995 at her home in Sandy, Utah.

Born August 27, 1906 in Circleville, Utah to John Victor and Sarah Ellen Lambson Samuelson. Married Wilford Aldwin Hiatt on September 10, 1924. Divorced. Married Ivan Lars Frandsen on June 28, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ivan passed away May 29, 1984. She was active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions in her ward as well as on the Stake Sunday School Board. She and Ivan served as Stake Missionaries and both worked in the Salt Lake and Jordan River LDS Temples.Survived by her daughter, Dawna V. Paget, Sandy; sons, Glenn Veraun (Dorothy) Hiatt, Sandy; Doran LaVar (Marie) Hiatt, Grantsville; Dean Ivan (Joanne) Frandsen; Dick Jackson (Gayle) Frandsen; Dale Arthur (Patsy) Frandsen, all Sandy; Rex Lee (Linda) Frandsen, Laie, Hawaii; 43 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; brother, John A. (Beth) Samuelson, Crescent; sisters, Carrie Ferrera, California; Emma (Walter) Randolph, Spokane, Washington. Preceded in death by brother, Almon "Sammy" Samuelson; sisters, Mildred Jackman, Thora Fackrell, Alda Revo, Gloria; grandson, Bruce J. Paget; granddaughter, Kari Hiatt; son-in-law, Frank Y. Paget.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 1995, at 1 p.m. in the Fairoaks LDS Ward Chapel, 586 East 8400 South, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Sandy City Cemetery.
