Dewain M. Blair, 71, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 1995 in Clearfield, Utah.

He was born June 11, 1923 in Eagle Rock, Calif., a son of James and Selina Ernita Randall Blair. He married Leone Madsen, April 3, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Leone, Clearfield; two sons and three daughters, Ronald W. (Jane) Blair, Clearfield; Paul K. (Karen) Blair, Layton; Jean Anderson, Clearfield; Barbara Blair, Lewisville; Idaho; Connie (Michael) Johnson, Los Alamos, New Mexico; one brother, Melvin K. (Emmy Lou) Blair, Manti. He was called Grampsie by....26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one daughter, Mary Blair Tenney and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 1995, 1 p.m. at the Clearfield 4th Ward Chapel, 838 East 600 So., Clearfield. Friends and family may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State and Saturday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park where military honors will be accorded by the Disabled American Veterans.
