Damon "Dewey" Lingle, 18, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 1995. He died fighting a year-long courageous and dignified battle with cancer.
He kept his sense of humor and his positive attitude, which has given strength to his family and friends.Born January 10, 1977 in Ida Grove, Iowa, son of Bruce Colyer and Linda Lorraine Krager Lingle. He moved with his family to Utah in 1989. He loved the mountains and outdoors.
Survived by his parents, Bruce (Andrea) Lingle, North Salt Lake; Linda (Mike) Davis, Murray; brother, Justin Lingle; stepbrother, Brian Davis; stepsisters, Melanie, Natalie, Laurie, Stephanie, Jodee Davis, Toni Butler, Tamara Laub, Heidi Miller and Nichole Bostrom; grandparents, Dean and Katherine Lingle; Dean and Lorraine Ruser, all of Holstein, Iowa; Roy and Elaine Davis, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by grandfather, Eldon Krager.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8575 South 700 East, under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
