The Utah Alzheimer's Association is planning its first "Glimmer of Hope" candlelight vigil on Sunday, April 30, at 8 p.m. at the Utah State Capitol. Participants will gather to remember Alzheimer's victims, share experiences and offer each other support.

Dr. Gerald Rothstein, a medical expert on Alzheimer's disease, will talk about the hope that new research offers victims and their families. The gathering will be held on the Capitol steps or moved inside the Rotunda if the weather is bad.
