BENEFIT CONCERT FOR VICTIMS OF BOMB IS SUNDAY IN OREM

Hilltop United Methodist Fellowship will hold a benefit concert for victims of the Oklahoma City bombing on Sunday, April 23, at at 6:30 p.m. at Orem High School, 175 S. 400 East. Two contemporary bands - "Creation" and "Heartsong" have volunteered their services, so all donations will be directed to the American Red Cross/-Salt Lake Chapter for distribution in the relief effort.

Nationally, Catholic Charities USA is also seeking donations for the bombing victims and their families. According to a press release, the agency makes a special effort to reach people not helped by other programs and to concentrate on recovery over the long term. Donations may be sent to: Catholic Charities USA - Oklahoma Explosion, Disaster Response Office, 1731 King St., Alexandria, VA 22314.
