DEATH: THELMA ROBERTS

Thelma Harrison Roberts, age 85, died April 23, 1995 in Sandy, Utah.

She was born March 4, 1910 in Taft, now LaPointe, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Henry Harrison and Ollive Labrum Harrison. She married Ray F. Roberts, December 17, 1930 in Roosevelt, Utah. He died February. 2, 1994.She will be deeply missed by her children, J. Val Roberts (Veryl), Centerville; Everett Dee Roberts (Minnie Lue), Altamont, Utah; Karalynn Freeman (Arlin), Herriman, Utah; and Tamara McDermaid, Sandy, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Edythe Curtis, Grand Junction, Colo.; sister-in-laws, Eva Harrison, Roosevelt; and Margaret Roberts, Maeser, Utah; brother-in-law, I. W. (Bud) Wingo, Grand Junction, Colo.

Preceded in death by her husband, her brother, Everett, her sister, Bernice Wingo and her grandson Kenneth Freeman.

A member of the LDS Church, served in the Primary, Relief Society, as a visiting teacher and in the genealogical name extraction program. Thelma put many hours into genealogy research and left a legacy of family history.

She loved to create items of beauty with her hands, crocheting, knitting, tatting, and quilting are just a few of the talents she perfected.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of Crosslands Health Care Center, especially the CNA's for their kindness and compassion shown our mother while she was there.

Funeral, Thursday, April 27, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment in the Herriman Cemetery.
