DEATH: JESS EMERSON MARTINEAU

Jess Emerson Martineau, 84 of McGill, Nevada, died April 20, 1995 in Ely, Nevada.

Born June 26, 1909 in Logan, Utah, to Charles Freeman and Eva Rice Martineau. Graduate of Utah State University 1932. Married Marjorie Ball. He was an electrician at Kennecott Copper corporation, Nevada Mines Division and a real estate salesman with Eastern Nevada Realty. Belonged to McGill Ward of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was a Past Exalted Ruler and 59 year member of the Ely BPOE Elks, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, and Sigma Chi Fraternity.Survived by wife, Marjorie Martineau, McGill, Nevada; three children, Nancy M. Swallow (George), Ely; Janet Martineau (Bill Orchow), Salt Lake City; Allen Dean Martineau (Susan), Littleton, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Mary Martineau, Morgan Hills, Calif.; Wilma Ball, McGill; brother-in-law, Frank Ball, of Sandy; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many dearly loved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Freeman, Bere, Bryant, James, Eldon and George, sisters, Claire Hyde, Dorothy Martineau and Aileen M. Overfelt.

Funeral services and burial, Tuesday in McGill, Nevada.
