Pearl G. Dahlen, age 88, of Provo, died April 26, 1995 at the East Lake Care Center in Provo.

She was born September 22, 1906 in Spanish Fork, Utah, the fourth of 11 children, to Brigham and Zola Christensen Garrett. She married Victor Dahlen in Magna, Utah in 1932. He preceded her in death in 1949. Pearl lived in Spanish Fork, Utah until the age of eight, when she moved with her family to Nephi, Utah.Pearl was an active member of the LDS Church. She had been a Primary teacher for 15 years, and worked in MIA. She had been a Primary president. She served an LDS mission in the Southern States Mission, and labored in Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama. She worked in the Provo Temple as a typist. She served as president of Yesharah LDS Lady Missionaries.

Pearl worked at the Utah Valley Builders in Orem, Utah. She was a Pink Lady at the Hospital. She had been a member of the BPU, and was a member of the DUP.

She is survived by two brothers and one sister, Max and Blanche Garrett of Provo; Grace Jackson of Nephi; and DeWayne and Elaine Garrett of Kaysville. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, Floyd Garrett, Lawrence Garrett, Roger Garrett, Blanche Pitt, Geneva Molyneaux, and Marjorie Nielsen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 1995 at 12 noon, at the Provo 12th Ward LDS Chapel, 945 East 700 North. Friends may call at the chapel one hour prior to services. Interment, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah. Funeral directors, Berg Mortuary, Provo.
