Edith Mary Jones Brown, 87, passed away April 25, 1995 in American Fork, Utah.
She was born Nov. 28, 1907 in Lehi, Utah the daughter of David E. and Sevilla June Clark Jones. Married Frank William Brown July 11, 1925 and they were sealed for time and eternity on Sept. 1, 1926 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Dec. 21, 1993.She was an active member of the LDS Church throughout her life and served in many callings. She loved teaching children and was a Primary teacher at the age of 14. She served in Primary for over 50 years. She loved music and sang many years in various ward choirs. When it came to her family, home and church, she was truly a perfectionist.
She will be deeply missed by her children Frank R. (Sharon) of Bountiful; JaNae B. Mattingly and Elaine B. Smith (Morris) of Alpine; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ora Wride, of Bountiful; Barta Haslam of California. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 17th Ward Chapel, 240 South Center St. Friends may call Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 No., Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
