DEATH: MAX GORDON BLAIN

Max Gordon Blain, 61, died April 26, 1995.

Born November 30, 1933 in Spring City, Utah, a son of Max Harrison and Nellie Ostler Blain.Married Shirlee A. Stewart February 8, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died November 23, 1987. Married Devora S. Webb February 11, 1989 in Moroni, Utah.

He spent his life in the building industry. He loved to work with his hands. He recognized, loved and appreciated the beauties of the earth. Always enjoyed being outdoors, was a loving husband, devoted father, true friend, loyal brother, and possessed all of the qualities of a Grandpa and spent his time being such.

Nothing took priority over the love he had for his family. He felt he should spend his life doing things that would outlive him. His talents and accomplishments reflected that desire. He was an active member of the LDS Church and a High Priest. Served in the Scouting program, as a home teacher and Sunday School teacher, and for the last four years as Primary teacher of the 8-year-olds. Preceded in death by wife, Shirlee; and parents.

Shurvived by wife, Dee of Spring City; two sons, Guy and Sue, Alpine; Gary and Carol of Spring City; three sisters, Mrs. Mack (MorRae) Wilkey, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. David L. (Carolyn) Hafen, Walla Walla, Wash.; Mrs. Glenn (Sherrol) Hadfield, San Jose, Calif.; three stepchildren, Mrs. Jim (Devora) Gamber, Washington, Utah; Mrs. Andrew (Sheri) Anderson, Wales, Utah; Clint (Lynnda) Webb, St. George; 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 1995, 1 p.m, in the Spring City LDS Chapel. Friends may call Saturday, 11 to 12:45 prior to services. Interment, Spring City Cemetery, directed by Ursenbach Funeral Home.
