DEATH: S. BURNALL BROWN

S. Burnall Brown, 93, passed away Thursday, April 27, 1995 in Salt Lake City, following a long illness.

He was born September 27, 1901 in Logan, the oldest son of Amos and Laura Holman Brown. He married Grace Chandler, August 16, 1919 in Brigham City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He was the father of two sons and one daughter.He was employed for 52 years by the Amalgamated Sugar Co., retiring in 1970 as vice-president and general superintendent. He was involved in the construction and operation of factories in Utah, Idaho, Montana, California and Oregon, culminating a career with 20 years in the general office in Ogden. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are his wife, Grace; sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd B. and Elinore, Boise, Idaho; Sid C. and Darlene, Gold Canyon, Ariz.; and daughter, Marian Rockwood, Salt Lake City; two brothers, Stanley, Twin Falls, Idaho; Amos, Bellevue, Wash.; three sisters, May Smith, Missoula, Montana; Phyllis Talbot and Florence Lewis, both of Nyssa, Oregon; seven grandsons, three granddaughters and 30 great-grandchildren.

Always a gentleman, he was a kind, generous and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services Mondaym, 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday, from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery.
