PERSONALITY PROFILE

First "real" job: Selling Fuller Brush products in Ogden. Later, I was a manager for Fuller Brush in West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and California where I received my first sales and management experience.

Management style: Motivational, inspirational and empowering. I have a great respect for all people. I help people set individual goals and try to help them achieve new levels of success. I believe that people should constantly stretch for more, in both their business and personal lives. Happiness comes as a result of growth and a journey is not a destination.

Strategy for success: Always focus on your goals, work hard, respect others and never quit.

A memorable failure: I don't really have any memorable failures (besides my attempts at golf). I don't consider the times I have tried and haven't succeeded as failures. The only failures are the times you don't try.

Heroes: Vince Lombardi for his incredible desire to have the winning team, and Lynn Wardley for the same. I admire all champions who set new records and do what has never been done before. They lead the way for all of us because of their example.

Leisure time and hobbies: I love my work and the people I work with. It is hard to separate work from leisure time in my life because I enjoy both a great deal. I always try to have fun. I spend most of my nonwork time with my family boating, flying, hiking, skiing and rollerblading.

Favorite book and movie: I enjoy a variety of books and movies from science fiction to philosophy. A couple of favorites are "Atlas Shrugged" and "In Search of Excellence." I enjoyed the movies `The Big Chill" and "Tin Men."
