Survived by his wife Gladys, mother, Helen, children, Barry, Danny, Lori, of Salt Lake City, Utah; Karen Rehak, of Buffalo, New York; Marcia Quiller, of Raleigh, N.C.; and sons, Gary D'arcy, and Brian D'arcy, of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; brother, Michael G., of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Dr. Ron C. Finlay, of St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; mother-in-law, Velma Harris, along with 23 grandchildren, little dog MindySue. Preceded in death by his first wife, June Harris.

Doug touched and warmed the hearts of people throughout Canada and the United States, through his strong love and great sense of humor. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. With a strong spirit of service and his National Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences, he served the hard of hearing community for over 35 years. He served as a faithful Priesthood holder in the LDS Church and being sensitive to others problems, he loved to share his testimony of Christ and influence others for good. He had an appreciation for beauty and a creative eye for photography and painting.Doug will be remembered as a loving family member and cherished friend. Doug's exciting new step will be reuniting him with past family members such as his father, Charlie, his father-in-law Denny Harris, and his first wife, June.

You fought a good fight and finished your earthly course. Thank you. You will be loved and warmly remembered.
