Kenneth Boren Snow, Sr., age 68, died peacefully Sunday, April 2, 1995.
Born October 2, 1926 in Provo, Utah, a son of William Arthur and May Boren Snow. Married Divina Rae Day June 12, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He attended Provo High School and Utah Technical College at Provo, and served honorably in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve from 1944 to 1951. A 38 year resident of Clearfield, he had resided previously in Provo and Layton, Utah.Ken was employed at the University of Utah for 29 years with prior employment at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield, and once owned his own business. He was honored in his employment, and received an Outstanding Performance Award and Employee of the Year. He was a member of the Clearfield Third LDS Ward.
Survived by his wife, Divina; three sons, Kenneth, Jr. (Leslie), James (Virginia), both of Fruit Heights; Wesley (Mary), Kaysville; five daughters, Linda Wood, Clearfield; Ranee (Randy) Peterson, Ogden; Teresa (Bryan) Hatch, Clinton; Caryl (Erik) Eriksson, Layton; Carrie Snow, Clearfield; one brother, Irwin W. Snow (Hilda), Lehi; 30 grandchildren; one great-grandson; preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services Thursday, April 6, 11 a.m., at the Clearfield Third Ward Chapel, 231 East 300 North. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 So. State St. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Third Ward Chapel. Interment in the Clearfield City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Disabled American Veterans.
