DEATH: JUNE W. STEWART

June Woodruff Steward of Midway, Utah and Indian Wells, Calif. passed away peacefully of causes incident to age in Heber City, Utah on April 1, 1995.

She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah June 24, 1902. She was the daughter of Apostle Abraham Owen Woodruff and Helen Winters. Married Isaac M. Stewart on December 16, 1927 in Washington D.C., later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Owen Woodruff; sisters, Helen W. Anderson and Rhoda Woodruff, a grandson, Isaac Stewart Bennett and her husband, Isaac Milton Stewart.She is survived by her children: Isaac Milton Stewart, Jr., Midway; Charles Owen Stewart, Los Altos, Calif.; June (Mrs. Gary Miller), Yuba City, Calif.; Helen Katherine (Mrs. Richard Bennett), Indio, Calif.; Wilford Romney Steward, Indian Wells, Calif.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving granddaughter of Wilford Woodruff.

She attended the BYU Academy and graduated from the University of Utah, where she was a member of the TriDelt Sorority. She taught school at the Ensign School in Salt Lake City. She served in numerous church callings. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6th at 11 a.m. in the Woodland Ward, Woodland, Utah, where family and friends may call from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Francis Cemetery in Francis, Utah.

The family suggests memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute at 560 San Antonio Road, Suite 103, Palo Alto, Calif. 94306.
