Edward Charles Kresser, 75, of Pleasant Grove, died April 2, 1995 at the American Fork Hospital.

He was born October 4, 1919 in Salt Lake City, a son of Edward John and Louie May Berrett Kresser. He married Neola Forsyth November 9, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was an active member of the LDS Church, living in the Timpanogos 1st Ward holding the office of High Priest. He attended schools in Arizona and Idaho. He served an LDS Spanish American Mission. He had been a pipe fitter at Geneva Steel for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. He was a member of the Roughout Riding Club of Pleasant Grove. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; three sons and three daughters, Kenneth (Barbara) Kresser, Coalville; Mrs. Ron (LuJane) Willis, Murray; Mrs. Alan (Elaine) Bezzant, Ted (Roxene) Kresser, and Robert (Kathy) Kresser, all of Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Dale (Edwa) Woodard, Taylorsville; 34 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Delbert Kresser, St. George; a sister, Velma McKean, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 11 a.m., at the Timpanogos 1st Ward, 400 East at 200 North, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. or Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
