DEATH: BESSIE CHERRY BEUS

Bessie Clark Cherry Beus, 96, died Monday, April 3, 1995 at the Washington Terrace Nursing Center of causes incident to age.

She was born October 9, 1898 in Coalville, a daughter of James O. and Matilda Ball Clark. She married Clyde Cherry on December 26, 1919 in Coalville. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 10, 1920. He died April 11, 1968. She married Heber H. Beus on June 23, 1972 in Ogden. He died January 29, 1976.She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many different positions. She was a member of the Navy Mother's for many years having three sons who served in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are three sons, Francis Roy and Laura Cherry, Siguard, Utah; Clyde Lee and Nadean Cherry, Bountiful; Marvin Jay and Barbara Cherry, Auburn, Washington; eight grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lola Mae; one grandson, David Cherry; five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, with Branch President Blaine C. Phillips officiating. Friend may call at the mortuary on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery.
