MATRIXX PARENT TURNS BIG PROFIT

Cincinnati Bell, parent company of Matrixx Marketing in Salt Lake City and Ogden, had net income of $72.6 million or $1.11 per share in 1994 compared with a net loss of $59 million or 93 cents per share in 1993, according to Dwight H. Hib-bard, chairman of the board.

He said the company reached a milestone in 1994 because more than 50 percent of the revenue came from businesses started when the firm diversified in 1983.
