The Nashville Entertainment Association is conducting a talent search to find the best unsigned country acts to perform at Music City Music '95, a two-day showcase staged for top professionals in the Nashville music industry.
The fifth annual event will take place July 11-12 and will feature a dozen acts from the United States and Canada. Country stars Dean Miller, Joy White and Pearl River signed recording contracts after appearing at this showcase.To be eligible, country artists or groups must be unsigned (no major record label affiliations) and able to assemble a strong supporting musical cast. Candidates must provide the association with a $50 application fee, completed application form, promotional packet (biography or fact sheet, photo and a demonstration tape with three original songs) and VHS video performance (if available). The application fee is waived for association members. Deadline for submitting materials is May 31.
