The Escort Carrier Sailors & Airmen Association Inc., parent organization of sailors and airmen who served in the smallest aircraft carriers of the U.S. Navy, will hold ceremonies during the next 21/2 years to honor those who served in the group.

All former personnel, families of those killed in action or who have died since that time are invited to attend and participate in three events, said Tony Potochniak, association president and membership chairman.Memorial services are scheduled Aug. 11-14, 1995, in San Diego.

In September 1996 the Escort Carrier & Squadrons Museum will be dedicated in ceremonies aboard the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CV-10) at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

Dedication of the Escort Carrier Memorial Monument will take place in September 1997 at Kaiser Shipyards Park in Vancouver, Wash.
