TYPISTS NEEDED TO ENTER CIVIL WAR DATA ON DISKS

The U.S. National Park Service needs volunteer typists to enter the names of all Civil War soldiers, both Union and Confederate, into computers. Groups are forming in all 50 states for the project.

When the task is completed, people will be able to determine which of their ancestors and relatives were in the Civil War and in which regiments.People will also have access to find which battles relatives fought in, whether they became casualties, if they received pensions and other related information.

The Park Service is trying to organize groups in every county and city in Utah. To enlist, call Terry Moyer 943-5475.
