DEATH: LOIS PHIPPS GREENHALGH

Lois Ann Phipps Greenhalgh, age 59, passed away April 6, 1995 at the home of her daughter in Sandy, Utah of cancer.

She was born February 6, 1936 in Eureka, Utah to John Curtis and Clara Evans Phipps. She married Roy Norman Greenhalgh, November 3, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the LDS Church and served many people as a Relief Society President and Compassionate Service Leader. She was a mamber of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a lifelong partner with her husband in their restaurant and catering business.

Survived by her husband, Norman of Nephi; children, Mrs. Dennis (Becky) Stuart, Sandy; Kerry J. (Marie) Greenhalgh, Logan; Scott R. (Christi) Greenhalgh, Spring City; Kirk N. (Laurie) Greenhalgh of Las Vegas, Nev.; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Otteson, Orem; and Linda Lowe, Spanish Fork; one brother, Blaine Phipps, Brigham City. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and brother, Don Phipps.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, 1995 in the Nephi LDS 2nd Ward, 222 So. 100 East. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 No. and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Nephi City Cemetery.
