The Women's Board of Westminster College will celebrate 79 years of support for the private college at the annual Silver Tea on Saturday, April 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Manford A. Shaw Center at Westminster, 1840 S. 1300 East.

The traditional Silver Tea features a boutique, international gifts, prize drawings, homemade baked goods, collectibles and candy. A special feature at the tea is a fashion show of elegant evening wear from the 1950s to 1970s modeled by Westminster students.The bazaar opens at noon, and the Silver Tea begins at 1 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The tea and bazaar are free, but the luncheon costs $5.
